Trish began downloading ERAS applications in September, and Dr. Naus has been reviewing them earnestly on a rolling basis. So far, we have received about 275 applications for the Residency Class that will matriculate on July 1, 2006.
Several interview dates have been fixed. A few more are being planned. Here is a list of the dates that have been confirmed thus far.
1. Thursday, October 27, 2005 2. Wednesday, November 2 3. Thursday, November 17 4. Monday, November 28 5. Wednesday, November 30
After consulting with the Chief Residents, it was decided that the format for the afternoons should be modified. We will no longer be having the 4 PM receptions where Faculty and Clinical Trainees mingle with the applicants. Instead, we have planned on-site catered lunches where applicants will have a chance to meet and chat informally with current Residents.
Here is the approximate schedule which the candidates will follow. 9-10 Breakfast & Introduction with Dr. Naus & Chief Resident 10-12:30 Interviews (5 in total) 12:30-2 Lunch with Residents 2-3:30 Tour with Chief Resident 2-3:30 Exit Interviews with Dr. Naus (concurrent with tour)
All residents are strongly encouraged to attend the candidate luncheons. | | | | The 2005 RISE will be administered from 9 AM to 5 PM on Monday, 5-9-05, in Room 1201 of Wesley W.
